Silly Boy

By Unknown Author

Just who does Adam Storch represent? Certainly not OUSU. In his electoral proposals, he stated that his aim was to abolish his own position, and has repeatedly attacked OUSU for being 'a left-wing talking shop of self-aggrandizing hacks'. It also seems unlikely that he represents the beliefs and interests of students. How many graduates think that the formation of an 'Auxiliary Student Service' is a good idea?

Very few, and it seems that Storch himself isn't among them. This self-styled 'loon' realises that his 'silly motions' are a monumental waste of time. Indeed, this seems to be the point. What he perhaps does not realise, though, is that these motions are also monumentally unfunny, and rapidly losing him sympathy.

His more facetious comments aside, Storch claims that his motions are a legitimate form of protest. They're not. They're simply a sign that behind all his bluster, here is someone who has very little to say.

Let us not forget that this is a man who used the word 'shibboleth' in his election manifesto. It doesn't take a genius to realise that Storch's 'silly motions' are not in fact silly, just stupid.
