MP-eeved Off?
Controversial MP Jeffrey Donaldson will be speaking tonight at the Oxford Union's first debate of Hilary Term titled: 'This House would not talk to Sinn Fein'.
The Ulster Unionist MP, formerly an agent to Enoch Powell, famously told his party leader David Trimble that he could not accept the Good Friday agreement, and refused to accept Prime Minister Tony Blair's promises regarding paramilitary decommissioning.
Also next month Colin Fox, the Member of the Scottish Parliament who has been labelled a 'socialist firebrand', will be speaking at the Oxford Union in favour of a motion lamenting the decline of student militancy.
The motion, to be debated on 12th February, will be supported by disgraced former Tory Cabinet minister Jonathan Aitken.
In the run up to the debate, Fox has stated: "The opportunity to be militant is denied to today's students."
