BUSA Round-up
Women's Badminton:
Oxford lost to the tabs 4-5, but still lie nine points clear of bottom team Cambridge, who like relegation certainties.
Women's Basketball:
Oxford thrashed Worcester 75-50, leaving them leading Worcester at the top of the table on points.
Women's Hockey:
Oxford lost to the tabs, second team this week, 2-0, however, they are still four points ahead of Cambridge, lying fourth in the table.
Women's Lacrosse:
The third team to lose to Cambridge this week, the Blues lost 11-2, are goals scored by Aly Rowell and Olivia Finch. Team captain Ruth Evans said she was 'very disappointed' at the defeat, which leaves them two points behind their opponents, she clearly expected a better result having beaten them earlier in the season 10-7. However, she said she was still very much looking forward to the upcoming Varsity match, and hoped to dish up some sweet revenge.
Women's Tennis:
The fourth, and final team that lost to Cambridge this week, were the Tennis team, who were defeated 2-4, leaving them second from bottom in the Midlands table, in a relegation position.
Women's Volleyball:
After a walkover victory against Wolverhampton the team lie in fourth position in the table, but could still be in danger of missing out on the Championship with Warwick lying one place behind with a game in hand.
