Sabs Proctorised
Five OUSU sabbatical officers are facing serious University disciplinary action after their alleged involvement in the January Exam Schools' occupation, writes Patrick Foster.
Four sabs, including OUSU President Helena Puig Larrauri, have been summoned to the Proctors' Court on the charge of "Occupation of University property and disruption of University activities". Those who admit the charge can be fined up to £70.
More seriously, Louise McMullan, Vice President for Access and Academic Affairs, has been summoned to the Court of Summary Jurisdiction on the same charge. She faces a fine of up to £500 and the possibility of three terms' rustication. Speaking to The OxStu, McMullan said: "I hope I get a fair trial." The Proctors' Office refused to comment.
