St Anne’s laid bare
Students have been queuing up to get their kit off at St Anne’s for a charity calendar, writes Kate McMullen. Over 62 students, and even a couple of porters, posed stark naked for a series of cheeky snaps of ‘typical’ college life. The calendar, produced in aid of the Gatehouse Homeless Shelter in Oxford, will be sold at £6.00. “A bargain, and great fun for all the family,” said Lindsay Bennett, the calendar coordinator. Sophie Morris, Entz Rep for St Anne’s, also posed naked.
“We were all totally naked it was a bit weird at first, people were kind of jokey and nervous about it. But we soon got into it and it turned out to be a big laugh. I’d definitely do it again.” Each photo, taken by a group of second years from St Anne’s, is of a different college scene - punting, playing pool, reading, playing rugby and so on. “It’s all in the name of good fun,” says Bennett.
