Average Bloc Party song gets cover from third-tier folktronica act: hold the front page. It’s a patchy affair, moderately exciting when it falls together in chinking beat and hurried guitar pluck, is for most of the time slightly ramshackle and pointless. That embarrassing mix of pretentious fi ddling and rinkidink mediocrity. It’s probably still better than the original, although the fact that it’s taken them this long to come up with anything remotely palatable is a little embarrassing for all concerned.
