'Sick' Suicide Guide
THIS YEAR'S edition of the FHM Students' Guide has caused so much offence that it has been withdrawn from students' unions throughout the country. This has resulted in the NUS, in whose pack the guide was to be found, suspending the right of its service wing to make autonomous decisions.

A motion has been proposed to abolish OUSU's Central Student Union Committee to put the responsibility for fund-raising in the hands of the sabbaticals. For the past twenty-five years Oxford students have lived in hope of acquiring a Central Student Union Building. The University has not been forthcoming with funds due, it is suggested, to pressure from colleges wishing to maintain their autonomy....

WHAT COULD turn out to be the only remaining fragment of the destroyed Oxford Univesity Boat Club has been acquired by the Oxford Student. The miracle remnant, a plaque of St. Peter's College, which shared the boat house with University college and the OUBC, escaped the flames after mysteriously vanishing from the premises last summer....

Cardiff students are being targeted by a potentially dangerous cult called the International Church of Christ. They have been described as heretical to the bible and a recent CU meeting was disrupted by the presence of several members of this organisation who attempted to hand out cards and impose their beliefs. The ICC has been described as dangerous by the CU president in Cardiff and they have been banned by the Student's Union. However this has not stopped them from continuing their campaign. The main danger at the moment is the possibility that Freshers, who are lonely or vulnerable, will be sucked into this cult....
