hackwatch
This week, Hackwatch has got his greasy hands on a VERY interesting document. Unknown to many even inside the Union, spoof election manifestos are floating around Frewin Court. Hackwatch was particularly intrigued by the spoof Hilary 2000 manisfesto
featuring abuse and slander about current Union President Richard Silcock, President-elect Nick Mason, Cherwell columnist Kieron Quirke and various other Union Hacks. Hackwatch is prohibited from printing most of the detail due to legal concerns. If the
allegations made in this manifesto are true, they reflect very badly upon the Union. However, Hackwatch has no doubt that this document was published by some malicious trouble-maker with an axe to grind. Hackwatch has every reason to believe that further revelations are on their way...
Richard Silcock: The current President's public school background is attacked with phrases such as "Lots of free dinners! RAAA!" and the author questions Silcock's commitment: "Remember the May Morning Breakfast? Neither do I, I wasn't there...
Nick Mason: The writer of this work thinks very little of our next Union President, alleging that Mason "brought in less than any other Treasurer for years" and that Mason "wastes (his) time on libraries you never use."
Kieron Quirke: Quirke is SAVAGED by the document. The writer urges us to "elect someone who has the arrogance and vulgarity to offend freshers," accusing Quirke of making the Union "the centre of thespy twat life."
Other Hacks: Richard Coates is labelled "Richard F***ing Coates", Antisemitic attacks are made on Michael Birshan, Aidan Burley is charged with "Losing the Union Thousands", and Amy Harland is labelled "Plainy Harland".
As for the author of this NASTY work, Hackwatch's detective work leads to one clear suspect. We are of course prohibited from mentioning their name. Hackwatch only hopes that the person concerned does not try to sue the Oxford Student...
