We Can Be Sarcastic Too
Dear Editors,
Good to see you devoting so much space early on in the term to Labour's activities
in Oxford ("Labour Club In Disarray", last week). Okay so you could have mentioned
Labour's ongoing battle against Lib Dem privatisation, or....[list of Labour
"achievements"]...Instead, you chose to hone in on the vital issue of membership fees
for the Club's executive. Well done anyway.

Ooh, get you... What happened, did you only just learn sarcasm at school today?
The reason we don't run stories about how amazing the Labour government is may
well be due to the fact that frankly, Mr.Turner, it's not even remotely interesting.
Or relevant. But then you knew that, you were just hoping we'd print the list of
Labour's achievements weren't you? Instead, we're just going to tell you
that the phrase you should have used was 'home in' not 'hone in'.
