Hello y'all, Jim owns this space once again. And this week, I've got my tail up. Pumpin' through my veins is a mix o' chemicals worse than a Japanese fishing lake. Y'see, recently I've felt my energy levels kinda dropping off as the day moves on. Struggling by 10am, for some reason Jim needs to go sleepy-bye-byes after lunch and a whisky-mack. So I thought, screw this, I'm gonna start hangin' around in them coffee bars. And what a revelation it was....

Did you ever Rent Strike? Did you ever vote in your JCR on whether to Rent Strike? Did you ever vote in your JCR as to whether to have a vote on whether to Rent Strike? Of course you did. Everyone does at some point. It's like Punting and Pimms. At some point your college will propose a 20% rent rise. And everyone will huff and puff and get very worked up, and then no one will strike, and everyone will pay.

Things to phone home about, number one: Cooking - omelettes are the stuff dreams are made of. They're quick to prepare, nutritious and taste great 'cos you can put anything in them (Did I mention my part-time job as a chicken farmer/milkman?). They're easy to make as well. In theory. My first attempt looked like a putrid heap of vegetables mixed with an egg having an identity crisis. Which it was. A quick long-distance cookery lesson from Mum & I practically live off them......

Corporal punishment is one of the greatest evil of our times. It is very easy for the evil apparatchiks of OUSU to sit in Bar Ruth, sipping cocktails and lazily pleasuring massed ranks of JCR Presidents, to think that corporal punishment is a good thing. Well, I have news for them. It is not. In a socialist society, the kind of society we all want to live in, (unless we are scum, and think women are sex objects or something), do we really want to see a society ruled by fear, where those naturally gifted to lead can, on a whim, wander down the High Street spanking young girls? ...
