Lennox Lewis

Why?

You mean you didn't stay up until 5.30 am on Saturday night/Sunday morning to watch "our" Lennox regain his World Heavyweight titles against Hasim Rahman? I know it was late, but this was amomentous event, and well worth it in the end.

"Our" Lennox? He doesn't speak like a Brit.

That's because he was born in Jamaica, and grew up in Canada, who he represented when he won the Olympic Gold Medal in 1988. However, he has lived in Britain for ages, has a British passport, and besides if Greg Rusedski counts as British, so does Lennox.

So he got his revenge on Rahman?

Yes. Having lost his titles to "The Rock" in South Africa in April when he was knocked out by one massive right hand shot, Lennox returned the favour late on Saturday. Only he took Rahman to boxing school first, and did it one round quicker - half way through th 4th.

What next?

A fight against Mike Tyson is certainly what the general public most want to see. With both fighters also making public pronouncements that they want it to happen, the richest fight in the history of the sport could well come about some time next year.
