ChCh Pres apologizes

By Unknown Author

JAMES KETTLE, CO-EDITOR of the Cherwell, has received an apology from Jack Langdon, Christ Church JCR President, after Langdon accused him of biasing coverage of the recent OUSU elections.

An email sent to all Christ Church undergraduates last week before polling day had implied that interviews in the Cherwell with the two presidential candidates had been biased by Kettle's connection with OULC, the University Labour Club.

Kettle refuted claims of impartiality, and Langdon has subsequently clarified his poition, claiming he merely intended to make his student body aware that one of the authors of the article (Kettle) had had dealings with OULC in the past. He apologized for any offence caused to the Editors of the Cherwell.
