Radio-mate
Altered Radio has this week launched a new radio dating scheme to help those lonely Oxford students, who are tired of being unable to find Mr or Miss Right in the clubs and pubs in town.
The first 'radio date' took place on Sunday morning, on Zoe and Sarah's show. The live-dating experience sees those looking for love talk about what they're looking for in a partner live on air, and would-be daters then MSN in with their propositions.
The listeners on Sunday proved particularly keen with two even going down to the studio to catch a glimpse of the lucky girl, also called Zoe, and answer her questions.
Speaking about this new novel way of dating she told The OxStu: "I'm not sure that this will be the start of anything for me, but hopefully it will produce many happy couples in the future".
However, this new dating show is not the only romantic attraction currently featured on Altered Radio. Sunday's investigative live-sex show, which featured a happy couple trying out the pleasure and ease of a new position, was deemed by Dresner, the show's presenter, as "successful despite the bad phone reception". The presenters are still looking for couples to participate, with Oxford students renowned as amongst those having the least sex out of all students in the country.
