Cops link college thefts
Thames Valley Police are investigating two separate break-ins at Worcester and St Antony's Colleges amidst suspicions that the two incidents are connected.
At around 4.15pm last Thursday a man gained entry to a first floor kitchen within St Antony's; he gained entry to a room but left when confronted with a female student.
At 5.15pm on the same day a man matching the description issued by police gained entry to Worcester College and stole two handbags from college offices.
Steve Dyer, Worcester College Domestic Bursar, told said bags were stolen from an unoccupied office. Two burglars escaped through the college sports field.
Dyer assured The Oxford Student that Worcester College is: "always seeking to prevent these incidents."
