Buried treasure. Nothing like it - Indiana Jones , Tomb Raider, the Mysterious Cities of Bloody Gold. All of them were basically motivated by the filthy lucre of lost civilisations (OK, so Esteban fancied Zia too). Of course, like all heroic childhood tales there was a happy ending, with Dr Jones hauling his stash back to his museum where it would be safe for posterity. The problem, of course, is that most of it is in someone else's museum....
