The body of missing student Wallace Watson was found last month on Sunday 11th. After a sighting by a member of the public near Folly Bridge, Oxford, police sealed off the footpath, while an underwater rescue team from Sulhampstead, near Reading, recovered the body. It was identified as Wallace Watson by items found on the body, including a driver's licence.

Wallace Watson, 18, a first-year from St. Catherine's College, went missing after attending a black tie party held by the Oxford Ski and Snowboard Club at the Oxford Union on February 17th. Fears had mounted after a man in a dinner jacket was seen struggling in water near Folly Bridge on the same night.

A Chemistry student, Wallace had previously studied at Radley College, near Abingdon, before attending St. Catherine's. A Service of Thanksgiving for his life will be held in Trinity Term.
