Union Cracks Show
As the Oxford Union continues its residency on the front page of the Oxford Student, it's fair to question whether Dan Johnson is nothing more than another casualty of hacky infighting. This, though, can't be the case. Whatever Johnson may publicly say about his motive, to keep a future Union career an option, it seems deeply implausible that a 3rd year classicist should find his work more of a strain than a lawyer with finals coming up in a couple of weeks. ...
Editorial: Fight to the death
How heartening to see a protest take place in Oxford (the "die-in") that manages to see the cause gain more good publicity than the University Police bad. This is especially so considering the nature of the protest, a point obviously not lost on the force themselves. So, let's not focus on bashing the University Police, for once. Let us instead look at the actions of the students themselves....
