Dry spell

LAST ORDERS WERE called at the Turf at 10pm on Monday as the bar ran dry. The taps at the pub were drained of all but Strongbow and Guinness by drinkers eager to get the term off to a good start. Staff called last orders as even the supply of bottles appeared to be running low. Michael Lyons of New College was outraged - "I went to buy Jenny, my girlfriend, a pint and I was refused. That's not happened since I was 15."
