Everyone used to think the Lib Dems were the party for those wishing to sit on the fence, but here in Oxford things are different. The so-called 'Liberals' rule supreme, with their comfortable straddling of the pro-education/on-message divide. But students also have the environmental guilt of the modern age to deal with, and this has led to the Green Party holding the balance of power on the Council over the last five years. You would expect the Greens to be grateful for this support, and yet instead they have marked themselves out as the students' enemy in this election. ...
