The mixed hockey cuppers tournament concluded on Sunday afternoon in a match between Brasenose and Jesus colleges. BNC, having narrowly qualified for the final in a 1-1 draw against Wadham-Corpus Christi in the morning's semi-final games (decided ultimately on penalty flicks), showed consistent and effective passing and teamwork throughout the game that in the second half allowed them to storm to victory over an exhausted Jesus squad....

I felt cheated, having given up five days of my life to enjoy a great sporting occasion, only for the result to be decided by the random incompetence of the protean official....
