OK, so another Union controversy makes it to the front page and we all get a laugh from their continued farcical incompetence. As ever, the hacks do their best to bore us with the interminable fine details of the rule-book. But we shouldn't be distracted from the central issue here, obvious and oft-repeated as it is, which is that this incompetence is funded from our, not very deep, pockets. Between 65 and 80 per cent of Oxford students are members of this nationally-renowned institution, but contrary to perceptions widely held nationally, we are not all loaded. ...
