FLASHER FLOOD

By Natalie Toms

A St Anne's student became the latest to fall victim to a flasher on Sunday night. The man exposed himself just outside the college, before running away down the Winchester Road.

The incident follows a spate of attacks at LMH, as reported in the OxStu last week. A police spokesman today confirmed that there had also been a second incident in the early hours of Monday morning, when a man exposed himself on Little Clarendon Street.

Thames Valley Police were, however unable to confirm or deny that the incidents are related.

Chris Sullivan, JCR President of St Anne's, commented: "I hope the offender is caught, he is a menace to the streets of North Oxford. I urge all JCR members from every college to keep an eye out for this deviant...We are monitoring the situation and hope it is not repeated."

The entire college were also asked to be vigilant by the Dean, Dr Peter Ireland. If you are flashed, the police advice is to "Avoid any sort of interaction (with them), don't acknowledge them, just walk away and call the police."
