Lincolnites attacked

By Unknown Author

Five Lincoln freshers were assaulted in eighth week last term, in an attack in which one student was punched in the face and another hospitalised, writes Leigh Fogelman.

The incident occurred on New Road, as the offenders pulled up to the students in a black car, armed with bottles. There seemed to be no justification for the attack.

The main attack took place after an initial confrontation, which passed without violence, only for the men to return by car. One of the victims told The OxStu that they "confronted us in the usual drunken townie manner".
