The other day, I heard someone ask a girl if she was studying languages. "Actually yes!" she answered, "How did you know?" "You just seem so articulate and exotic," replied the charming fellow. She was obviously delighted. I couldn't help thinking how awful it would be, though, if you were doing Computer Science and somebody got it in one. How would that conversation continue? "You just seem so well-versed in keyboard shortcuts"?...
