Shhhh....
Which Azim-supporting heart-of-gold Kebleite is currently hitting an unfair and miserly score on hotornot.com? The bespectacled blonde bombshell, who appears to be involved with just about everything ethical in the University, would surely disapprove of such superficial visage-based voting. Log on and give her ten out of ten, I say.
Spare a thought for Social Sciences Library deputy librarian Louise Clarke, who replies to comments in the suggestions book. This week she dealt with the comment: ‘Fine me again and I'll put a cap in your ass,’ the work of one wag. Luscious Louise replied drily: ‘Abusive comments such as these are neither helpful nor productive.’ Well said, Lou.
XX marks the spot: News reaches me that the crusading sisters who are Oxford Women in Politics (OxWip seems such a harsh acronym, somehow) are hosting the University’s leading political ladies for an election discussion on Tuesday night at Mansfield.
OUCA firebreand Jo Joyce (St Hilda’s), Labour Club’s Bridget Phillipson (Hertford), the Union’s Sapana Agrawal (Teddy Hall) and the Lib Dems’ Louise Radnofsky (Univ) will join Labour voter Bex Wilkinson, late of Teddy Hall and now at Oxford’s largest Stalinist collective. Organiser Ellie Cumbo says: “It could get controversial.” I doubt it, but there’s wine, so it gets my vote.
