Merry samtsirhC from St Peter’s!

College News News
14th December 2011Alex Beaumont

St Peter’s College has released a scented candle for Michaelmas, but made the mistake of printing the logo the wrong way up.

The asking price on the College’s website is £30 for the item, which could be considered a Christmas gift, but whilst the box it comes in has the keys correctly printed handles-down, the green candle-holder itself has them handles-up.

Student reaction was light-hearted, with third-year historian Hugo Gordon commenting: “I think it’s great – it demonstrates how St Peter’s regularly challenges the way we see the world, constantly turning what we think we know on its head.”

St Peter’s Development Office acknowledged the error but declined to comment.
