Banks’ work has not been without its controversies, his 1984 novel The Wasp Factory in particular shocked many upon its publication with its highly graphic depictions of violence.

The event will be held at LMH on Friday 28th September, 6.30pm. Tickets can be purchased via the First Story website www.firststory.org.uk. Tickets are £15 (Concessions £9).
