Last Sunday hundreds of students descended on Merton sports ground to celebrate the Indian festival of Holi.
Holi, the so-called festival of colours, is a Hindu religious festival which has become popular with people all over the world.
Celebration involves lighting bonfires and throwing coloured powder and paint in order to celebrate the triumph of good over evil.
One OxHoli goer called the event “The highlight of my Trinity so far.
“The colours are incredible and the satisfaction that comes with throwing coloured powder over someone else’s face cannot be matched by any other religious activity known to man.
“I wish every day was Holi”
