Sexism campaign launched

OUSU Women’s Campaign has launched an “Oxford-based, student version of the Everyday Sexism Project.” The national project details the stories of sexism submitted by ordinary women.

The Oxford version seeks to provide “a forum for women to share their experiences of sexism on a day to day basis, no matter the size, and thereby highlight the everyday sexism that’s experienced locally, right here in Oxford, but goes unnoticed.”

Those submitted are encouraged to include local references, in order to highlight “how close to home these experiences are for students in Oxford”.

Submissions can be made via the Tumblr website, the Facebook Page, on Twitter (@EverydaySexismO) or email.
