On 8th November, the domestic bursar of Corpus Christi apologised to the JCR and MCR after an emergency rescue training dummy was hung in the front quad, creating an unsettling image.

In an email seen by The Oxford Student, the domestic bursar wrote:

“I write to apologise for the lack of warning concerning this morning’s training session in the front quad. While the training was necessary and provides a much needed safety capability for the staff required to work on the roofs, I was not aware that the dummy suspended from the parapet would cause adverse reaction among some.

“I will try to bear this experience in mind  before undertaking similar exercises in the future. Once again my apologies”.
