Worcester College is hosting an exhibition celebrating artists of all mediums from in and around Oxford in the first week of May.
Exhibition 002, the second annual arts event hosted at the college, will run from Monday 1st to Friday 5th May. The inaugural event took place in May 2022 led by Worcester students Kes Berry and Eulalia D’Souza. The success of Exhibition 001 led to the exhibition becoming an annual celebration of creativity of all forms. Last year’s exhibition saw around 130 attendees and this year they are hoping to push for 150. The committee putting the event together this year includes Treasurer Abdul Muhaimin Tahseen and Secretaries Nina Holguin and Danyal Akhtar. Founders Kes and Eulalia are also involved this year.
This event is intended to spotlight artists from across the local area, not just students of the University of Oxford. The work of more than 30 artists will be showcased in the exhibition, including students from John Mason School in Abingdon as well as Imperial College London. The opening night celebration, which will be held on Monday 1st May from 6.30pm to 10pm at Worcester College, will feature both musical and spoken word performances. The event will take place across the college, including musical performances in the chapel. The ticket price includes drinks and canapés with vegetarian and vegan options available.
Tickets are available to purchase for the opening event at https://www.buytickets.at/worcestercollegeartexhibition/888524.
